Human Factors (wide definition)

  • HF is the use of technologies and methods for optimizing the fit of patients, healthcare providers, environments and technologies.
  • HF is an applied science that seeks to:
    • understand human capabilities and limitations, and
    • design equipments, environments, teams and organizations according to such understanding.
